Who it's for
For private landlords letting a home in Scotland on a private residential tenancy, with up to four tenants. The model's wording has been updated for the Housing (Scotland) Act 2025: rent control areas replace rent pressure zones, and the changes due on 1 April 2027 are stated with their date.

Status
This template has been reviewed by AgreeVia, but not by a solicitor. Lettings law changes often: check it against current government guidance before you use it. It is a starting point, not legal advice: if it is wrong it can have serious consequences, so read the finished document carefully and check it suits your situation before anyone signs. In the app, after you preview it and before you invite anyone to sign, you confirm that you have read it and that AgreeVia does not give legal advice, and we keep a record of that.
