Who it's for
For landlords and letting agents in England who have taken a tenancy deposit. It covers the prescribed information in article 2 of the Housing (Tenancy Deposits) (Prescribed Information) Order 2007. It is not for Wales, which no longer uses that order.
A Pro template. You can fill it in and preview it for free; creating it needs AgreeVia Pro.
Status
This template has been reviewed by AgreeVia, but not by a solicitor. Send the deposit scheme's own leaflet with it. It is a starting point, not legal advice: if it is wrong it can have serious consequences, so read the finished document carefully and check it suits your situation before anyone signs. In the app, after you preview it and before you invite anyone to sign, you confirm that you have read it and that AgreeVia does not give legal advice, and we keep a record of that.
